MSME Compliance Calendar 2025

MSME Compliance Calendar 2025

Running an MSME is demanding. You are juggling customers, operations, vendors, cash flow — and in the middle of all this, compliance often feels like a side task. But here’s the truth:
Compliance mistakes cost more than operational mistakes.
Missing a deadline can trigger penalties, notices, and unwanted scrutiny.

This guide simplifies your 2025 MSME Compliance Calendar so you always stay ahead of GST and MCA timelines — without stress.

GST Compliance Calendar 2025

GST compliance is structured and date-driven. Missing even a single return can block e-way bills or freeze working capital. Here is your month-by-month view.

1. Monthly GST Filings

These apply to regular taxpayers:

  • GSTR-1 – 11th of every month
Report outward supplies and invoice details.

  • GSTR-3B – 20th of every month
Summary return where you declare outward and inward supplies with tax liability.

  • GST Payment – 20th of every month
Ensure taxes are paid before filing GSTR-3B to avoid interest.

2. QRMP Scheme (Quarterly Return, Monthly Payment)

For taxpayers with turnover ≤ ₹5 crore:

  • GSTR-1 Quarterly – 13th of the month following the quarter
     File your invoice details quarterly.

  • PMT-06 Payment – 25th of every month
Pay tax monthly using the fixed-sum method or self-assessment method.

  • GSTR-3B – 22nd or 24th (based on state)
Filing date depends on your state’s category under QRMP.

3. Annual GST Filings

  • GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C – 31st December 2025
Reconcile yearly data, turnover, taxes, and audits.

Annual filings are crucial for closing the year’s compliance loop and avoiding future scrutiny.

MCA Compliance Calendar 2025

Whether you are operating as a Private Limited Company or an LLP, MCA compliance is mandatory. These filings ensure financial transparency, director verification, and legal validity.

For Private Limited Companies

  • AOC-4 – 30 days from AGM
File financial statements, including the balance sheet and profit and loss statement.

  • MGT-7 – 60 days from AGM
Submit your annual return with shareholding, directors, and company information.

  • DIR-3 KYC – 30th September
Directors must update their KYC annually to avoid penalties and DIN deactivation.

For LLPs

  • LLP Form 11 – 30th May
Annual return with partner details and basic information.

  • LLP Form 8 – 30th October
     Statement of Accounts and Solvency.

LLP compliance is lighter than company compliance, but missing deadlines leads to heavy per-day penalties — so staying on track is essential.

Why Compliance Matters for MSMEs

Compliance is no longer paperwork — it is automated, monitored, and directly linked to your financial credibility.

Here is why staying compliant matters:

1. Automated Scrutiny

Most filings are now system-driven. Any mismatch triggers auto-notices, blocking input credits or refunds.

2. Higher Penalties

Late fees pile up quickly — especially for GST. Non-compliance with MCA forms can lead to per-day penalties.

3. Impacts Funding and Credit Rating

Banks, NBFCs, and investors evaluate GST and MCA compliance before approving loans or investments.
A clean record boosts your rating and trustworthiness.
